Word of Life Christian Center is a church with a God-given vision to
reach our community, Delaware as well as the nations, for Christ. We are a church that ministers to the whole family, equipping Christians for ministry, doing our utmost to identify and to meet the needs of the local area, and to carry the gospel to the world.

Word of Life has 3 worship services:

Sunday at 8:30 am

Sunday at 10:30 am

Sunday at 5:00 pm (Spanish/English Bilingual Service)

Just pick the one that is most convenient for you and stop by. Each service features excellent programs for children from birth through teens.

Word of Life is located in the heart of the Newark Delaware, minutes the from the University of Delaware, the Christiana Mall and I-95. Situated at the intersection of Old Baltimore Pike and Route 72, you'll find Word of Life is easily accessible from anywhere you call home.

From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you'll be made to feel at home. Our terrific parking team will direct you as you enter the campus. Then, our friendly greeters will be poised and ready to give directions or answer any questions you may have. As you enter the worship center, our ushers will welcome you and direct you to your seat.

Our worship services feature Christ-centered, engaging worship & biblically focused & life applicable teaching.

Whether it is your first time at Word of Life, or you've been attending for years, you never know what to expect during our worship service. From the moment you walk in the door, until the moment you leave, we are committed to a creative, compelling, challenging presentation of God's truth.

Our pastors communicate in a way that speaks to today's culture. The teaching ministry focuses on the Bible & how to apply Christ’s teachings to our lives, so we each can experience God's incredible purpose each and every day. The extraordinary worship service ties the message and the music together in a relevant way allowing the Holy Spirit to prepare our hearts for what God has in store for us.

You'll find first-class programs for your children, from birth–teens. Our Nursery, located to the left from the main auditorium, offers a warm, colorful and caring environment for your precious ones, with rooms designed for each stage of development.

The Preschool, also to the left from the main auditorium, is an amazing place that will captivate your child’s heart and imagination, from Toddlers–5-years old. Your child will experience crafts, Bible stories, and music, and group interaction.

K-4 During the first half of the service (10:30am service only), we have kids worship in the children's church area that runs simultaneously as the adult worship in the main auditorium.

K-2 Brings a variety of ways that our teachers communicate each lesson to our children. It's fun as well as educational.

Your children, from 3^rd – 4^th Grade, will be at home in the Youth for Christ, built just for them. Your girls and boys will experience church like never before, with the latest games, music and video, created to present God's truth in fun and innovative ways. They won't want to miss a single service.

God Squad for 5th to 7th graders takes place in the their classroom to the left of the main auditorium in our new addition. The service is packed with a relevant message, games, and small group discussions. Don't miss this high-energy time of friends and fun!

Absolutely. If you're a Jr. High or High School student, Word of Life is the place to be!

Our Teen Ministry is a special meeting just for our Jr. High and High School students.

At Word of Life, the teen ministry’s purpose is to reach the youth of today and demonstrate the reality and necessity of knowing and living for Jesus Christ in a fun and action-packed environment. We teach on subjects that some may avoid, but that directly impact this teenage generation.

We deal with REAL issues and have a great time doing it! Join us on the last Friday of the month at 7:00pm for Legacy Night and Sunday mornings at 8:30 & 10:30am. Additional events are scheduled separately, including trips to regional youth events & just some other crazy teen stuff!.
