Word of Life Christian Center

Frequently people who are new to the church tell me about how they love the teaching ministry, how friendly we are, and how they love the worship. Of course as a pastor I am blessed to hear comments like these. But there are two things spoken that bless me even more.

The first is when people tell me that they sense the presence of the Lord as soon as they walk into the church building. That tells me that the prayers of the people who come in through the week and before each service are creating a God-filled environment. It is my desire to see the presence of God so strongly manifested and the huger for God be so strong at Word of Life that it truly becomes a place where the miraculous power of God operates unhindered.

The second is when people tell me that since they have been coming to Word of Life their lives have changed. I hear from people who were defeated walking now in victory, those previously weak in faith now living in overcoming faith, and people who have been healed by prayer or by just sitting weekly under the teaching of God’s Word. Many also add that they are putting into practice what they have learned and seeing greater success in their home life and work life.

Do you have a “God story” or a testimony of what He has recently done in your life (healing, promotion, blessing, etc.)? If so, we want to hear about it so that it can be shared during our Sunday services. By sharing our testimonies, others can celebrate and be encouraged by what God has done for you. Please email a short description of your testimony to the church office (wolcc@comcast.net) In this description, please include a brief statement as to what the situation was and how God changed it. Don’t forget to include your name and phone number! As we receive these testimonies, someone from the office will contact you to gather more information and to schedule a time to have your testimony shared. We look forward to hearing the great things that God continues to do!

WOL’s Creative Arts Praise Night is coming soon - August 1 at 7pm! We invite you to participate by expressing Who God is through song, dance, artwork, poetry, original photography/videography, etc., just to name a few!
