IN 2009:
1. Know that you are on assignment
2. Look for times of convergence.
3. Be prepared for God to tell you “Now!”
4. Be ready to confront a world acting like God is dead.
5. Expect to be bold!
6. The boundaries of your success are set by the limits of your prayer life.
7. Boldness to speak in faith will come from a close walk with the Lord.
8. Be looking for both the natural and supernatural provision of God.
9. Be prepared for character adjustments.
Proverbs 28:1 (NASB) The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, but the righteous are bold as a lion.
Isaiah 60:2 (NASB) For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you.
PROPHETIC VIEWS FOR THE YEAR 2009:
Birthing, new cycle, new season. Must be with God to hear directions or miss blessings/opportunities. "Old wineskins" will get drier, more brittle, increasingly unwilling to consider the new of God or admit they’ve not followed God this past season. Old wineskins can be made like new with soaking in water (Word of God) and smearing with oil (Being filled with the Holy Spirit and following His leading).
God requiring conversation and dialogue, so, as ’09 opportunities arise: automatic "no’s" must be deferred to God for consultation, and automatic "yes’s" (things you choose instinctively, without thinking) must be scaled back to allow the Lord room to lead you.
Must fight the spirits of darkness that swallow up our blessings.
