PARKING
This fun and enjoyable team is our guests first impression of Word of Life. You will guide guest flow before and between services. If you relish the great outdoors and are confident in directing traffic, this is the team for you!
GREETING
This friendly team loves people and makes them feel at home here at Word of Life. They welcome guests with a smile and encouragement so that hearts are open to the Gospel message.
USHER
This team prepares guests for a positive Sunday service experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, facilitating the offering, and maintaining a distraction-free environment. The team also serves the Communion elements one Sunday per month.
LANDSCAPING
This team serves to maintain the upkeep of the church grounds by removing trash, weeding, and general yard work.
CLEANING
This team serves behind the scenes on Saturday mornings or Friday nights to prepare the building for Sunday services, by cleaning and caring for the church building.
FIRST RESPONDERS
This team serves to provide basic medical, security or safety attention to our guests in the event of an accident, emergency or safety issue at Word of Life. If you’re a doctor, nurse, EMT, or have emergency or military training, this may be a place for you.
HOSPITALITY
This team serves in The HUB Cafe on Sundays, preparing and providing refreshments to the congregation after the services.
KIDS CHECK-IN
This team is the first point of contact for parents when they bring their children to WOL Kids. It creates a welcoming environment and assists families with checking in, dropping off, and picking up children our Kids area.
WOL KIDS
This team creates an environment where children have the opportunity to discover and develop a passion for God through worship, Bible lessons, videos, games and more. Pick one of the following ages/grades are consistently experiencing the real love of Jesus. They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through worship, Bible lessons, videos, games, and more. Pick one of the following ages to serve and you'll have a ton of fun!
0-17 months
18 months - 3 years
3 - 5 years
K - 2nd grade
3rd - 5th grade
middle school (6th - 8th grade)
CREATIVE PRODUCTIONS
Bring your creativity and tech savvy to this team that reaches many by using camera, sound, lighting, staging, and other visual elements to assist in the delivery of the Word and worship.
CHURCH ONLINE HOSTING
This team interacts with the online church during the live services on our online platforms.
WELCOME CENTER
This team greets the first-time guests at the Welcome Center, gives information about the church, and helps our guests to find their way through the building, and make them feel welcome.
GROWTH TRACK
As official hosts of our Growth Track, this team greets the participants, as well as, sets up classroom materials, and provides assistance throughout each of the four Growth Track steps.
CARE
The Care Ministry offers various forms of encouragement and support to those in our congregation, during times of need and/or loss.
